If you were to book a flight to visit Mexico, I would recommend visiting during the Spring Equinox, which is during the month of March. During this season, I would recommend heading to the beach because the temperature and weather is just about right if you were planning on soaking up the sun. As for activities, I would recommend attending any of the festivals during this season. On the third Monday of March, there is a holiday in commemoration of Benito Juarez' birthday, which means a lot of festivities to welcome spring.
The weather in Mexico during this season is very dry and clear and probably a slight amount of rain. But the calm, dry, clear blue sky's will be a perfect little get away if you live somewhere too cold. It's a perfect place to soak up that vitamin D as well as playing your favorite water sport!
