Global and Local Winds in Mexico

Location and Global Winds

Mexico is located on the geographic coordinates of 19.0000 N latitude and 102.3667 W longitude of North America. Since the Plant is divided into four Hemispheres; Northern Hemisphere, Western Hemisphere, Southern Hemisphere, and the Eastern Hemisphere, Mexico is located in the Northern and the Western Hemisphere. According to the three atmospheric cells, Mexico resides on the Hadley Cell, where the trade winds occur. The trade winds blow from East to West. Mexico is located near the High Pressure belt; N and S, called the "Horse Latitude".

Based on my basic research of Mexico, Mexico has mountains. The largest, highest, and was formerly a volcano mountain in Mexico is the El Pixo de Orizaba. The five types of breezes or winds associated with the mountains in Mexico are the Mountain and Valley Breezes, Land and Sea Breezes, and the Katabatic Winds. For Mexico, they can feel Mountain, Valley, Land, and Sea Breezes. Mexico has a pacific coast and coastline on the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. Sea breeze and mountain breeze is usually associated with the coastlines. People can usually experience the Sea breeze during the day.

Typical Weather and Tourism in Mexico

TOURISM GUIDE TO MEXICO

In Mexico, that is Located in the Western Hemisphere, the winter solstice will start on Monday, December 21st, 2015.  The average maximum temperature during the month of December in Mexico City is at 69 degrees Fahrenheit. The average minimum temperature during the month of December is at 37 degrees Fahrenheit. During December in Mexico, it is likely to snow during the Winter Solstice.

When Mexico rotates and starts to move towards summer, the summer solstice will occur on Sunday, June 21st. The average maximum temperature during the month of June is 76 degrees Fahrenheit and the average minimum temperature for Mexico is at 54 degrees Fahrenheit. During the summer solstice, it is likely to rain.

The equinox occur when the sun is positioned directly over the equator. The word "equinox" basically means "equal night" because that is when the night is equal in the length to the day. There are two equinoxes that occur every year. The spring equinox, usually called "vernal equinox", in Mexico will occur on Friday March 20th, 2015. The average maximum temperature in March is at 79 degrees Fahrenheit. The average minimum temperature in March is at 42 degrees Fahrenheit. The weather in Mexico is mostly dry with a small amount of rain.

The Autumnal Equinox in Mexico will occur on Wednesday September 23rd, 2015. During September, the average maximum temperature is at 91 degrees Fahrenheit and the average minimum temperature in Mexico is at 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Although the cities and resorts of Mexico feel hot, humid, and damp during September, Mexico will still have a few showers due to the hurricane season in September.

If you were to book a flight to visit Mexico, I would recommend visiting during the Spring Equinox, which is during the month of March. During this season, I would recommend heading to the beach because the temperature and weather is just about right if you were planning on soaking up the sun. As for activities, I would recommend attending any of the festivals during this season. On the third Monday of March, there is a holiday in commemoration of Benito Juarez' birthday, which means a lot of festivities to welcome spring.

The weather in Mexico during this season is very dry and clear and probably a slight amount of rain. But the calm, dry, clear blue sky's will be a perfect little get away if you live somewhere too cold. It's a perfect place to soak up that vitamin D as well as playing your favorite water sport!
